The Cirrus VC439 Residential Canister Powerhead Vacuum Cleaner has a carpet height adjuster to allow cleaning of carpet or rugs as well as hard surface floors. The carpet height adjuster is located on the power nozzle. To change the height of the power nozzle, press the round floor pedal to adjust the carpet height from the lowest setting of 1 to the highest setting of 6. It is recommended that the longer the carpet piles, the higher the settings. A 12 amp motor provides plenty of power to the canister’s powerhead and the dual swivel hose gives easy control over flat surfaces and hard to reach areas. When changing the power nozzle to a different setting, be sure to turn the machine off before making the adjustment. To keep the air clean as it exits your canister vacuum, the VC439 has HEPA type filtration with dual filtration. When it is time to change the bag, the indicator light will be a visual reminder. The cleaning tools are stored underneath the tool lid. You can use the combination tool or crevice tool attached directly to the hand grip or to the wand for extra reach. Two different storage options are available for you, based on your storage space. The first is storing the canister upright or you can store the canister in the normal position with the powerhead parked on the end of the canister. The inlet filter is located near the rear of the dust compartment; this filter can be washed under running water.
